Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account and using enMoney, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Description of Service
enMoney is a private personal finance tracking application that helps households track accounts, investments, property, super and net worth, and prepare figures for tax time. Access is currently by invitation only.
Not financial advice. enMoney is a tracking and organisational tool. Nothing in the app is financial, tax, investment or legal advice, and enMoney is not a registered tax agent. Talk to a qualified professional before making financial or tax decisions.
Your Account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
- You must be at least 18 years old to use this service
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must not share your account with others — use the household invite feature instead
- Accounts are non-transferable
Plans and Billing
- enMoney has one paid plan, a subscription that includes every feature, with a free trial. There is no ongoing free plan. What it includes is shown on the pricing page. We may add features to it at any time.
- The subscription is billed in Australian dollars, either yearly (A$119) or monthly (A$14.99), in advance. We are not registered for GST, so no GST is charged. If we register, prices will include GST and we will tell you before it applies.
- One subscription covers two people in a household: the subscriber and the household member who joined first. Joining a household does not share your financial data; you choose what to share. If the subscriber cancels, or the covered member leaves the household, that member's account becomes read-only (see After the Trial).
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. For yearly plans we email you at least 14 days before renewal with the amount and date.
- If a payment fails, we retry it for up to 7 days and you keep full access during that time. After that your account becomes read-only (see After the Trial).
Free Trial
- New accounts get 30 days of full access free. No card is needed to start.
- When the trial ends, your account becomes read-only unless you choose a paid plan. You are never charged without choosing a plan.
- One trial per person.
After the Trial (read-only)
If your trial ends, you cancel, or a payment fails, your account becomes read-only. That never deletes or locks your data:
- you can still see, edit and export everything you have entered;
- importing statements and documents, reading documents automatically, broker connections and syncs, tax packs and sharing them, and Ask enMoney stop until you choose a plan.
Your data stays until you delete your account.
Cancellation
- Cancel any time in Settings → Billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep full access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
- Deleting your account also cancels your plan.
Price Changes
We may change the price of the subscription. We will email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, and it applies only from your next renewal after that notice. If you do not want to pay the new price, cancel before the renewal. If you are on a yearly plan and the notice reaches you after your renewal has already been charged, you can ask for a refund of that renewal within 30 days of the notice.
Founding Members
Accounts created before paid plans launched may receive a free period and a discounted “founding” price, as told to them by email. That price is kept for as long as the plan stays active without a break.
Partner Referrals
- Some accountants and other partners refer clients to enMoney with a partner code. If you use a code, we pay that partner a share of what you pay us for your first 12 months. Depending on the partner's arrangement, you may also get a discount on your first year.
- You choose whether to use a code, and you are told at the time exactly what the partner will see: your name, that you joined, and whether you are on a paid plan. A partner never sees your financial data through this arrangement.
- You can remove a partner code in Settings → Billing until your first payment.
- A partner who is your tax agent may have to tell you about this payment under their own professional rules.
Ask enMoney (AI answers)
- Ask enMoney uses an AI model to answer questions using the figures in your account. Answers can be wrong or incomplete. Check any figure that matters before you rely on it.
- Ask enMoney explains your own numbers. It is not financial, tax or legal advice, it is not provided by a registered tax agent, and it does not consider your full circumstances. Talk to a qualified professional before acting on it.
- The subscription includes a monthly question allowance, shown in the app. Unused questions do not roll over.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the service
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

Data and Privacy
Your use of enMoney is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms. It explains what we collect, why, and who processes it for us.
Service Availability
We aim for high availability, but we may need to perform maintenance or updates, with reasonable notice where possible. We strongly recommend you keep your own records for any critical financial data.
Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms, including the Refund Policy and Limitation of Liability, excludes, restricts or changes those rights.
Limitation of Liability
Subject to the Australian Consumer Law section above:
- We provide enMoney with due care and skill, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that imported or calculated figures will always be correct. Keep your own records for anything critical.
- Where the law lets us limit our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
- We are not liable for loss arising from financial, tax or investment decisions you make using information shown in enMoney.
Termination
- We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms. Unless the breach is serious (for example fraud or an attack on the service), we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
- If we close your account for a reason other than your breach, or stop offering enMoney, we refund the unused part of any prepaid period and give you at least 30 days to export your data.
- You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. We will email you at least 30 days before a change that is materially worse for you takes effect. If you do not accept it, you can cancel before it takes effect and we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
